Clutter: Any StriVectin users here?

I could not bring myself to spend all that money till they came out with the eye cream in a smaller bottle size. OK, it was $20 more than I thought, but I am excited to see if it works on those not-so-fine lines under my eyes. Besides the deep crease I have had for years, I am noticing smaller ones too, and I am not happy about them.

I had no idea what this was when you posted the other day so did not read and answer. Guess not too many others know, either. Well, if I started chasing lines under my eyes I would spend a fortune. They have been there along with dark circles since I was a child. LOL. Glad to hear it is working for you, tho. Hugs Mk

It is an anti-wrinkle cream, first developed to fade stretch marks. I have heard it is pretty good, but the large bottles (only one size) were too much money for me to want to spend at once. They came out with an eye cream in a smaller tube, so I decided to give it a whirl. I just started it, keeping my fingers crossed for good results-

Lori, if this helps and makes you feel better than you're doing a "good thing." Don't forget though that heredity also enters into the "maturing" process of acquiring "smile lines" around the eyes. Now, if someone would just invent a cream to remove skin tabs so I could stop going to the dermatologist. LOL! Hugs, Luci

My smile lines are present under my eyes when I am not smiling, all the time, which is why it bothers me. I just started using the cream, so not sure if it works yet.

Skin tags....I have a couple new ones too, even one right near my SNB scar. Does it hurt to get them removed?

You guys don't know this, but I run a skin care center in Little Rock. As far as Strivectin goes, I hate to say it, but it's really not good for your skin. It contains mineral oil which should never be used on the whole face. Might be ok just under eyes. Also heard that it works for short period of time then loses all effectiveness.

Wow, Julie, that is interesting! Thanks for the info! Do you have more information on the Lam Probe thing? I have a couple old ones and a couple new ones that I want to get taken care of. One is in a bad spot in my armpit, and I am concerned about cutting it when I shave.

Hey Lori,
The Lam Probe just uses heat to cauterize it at the root and it just falls off. Takes all of 3 - 5 minutes. I just discovered it by accident and decided to offer it in our clinic. I'll know more in the next couple of weeks. Will keep you posted.

Talk about skin tags........ I hardly ever had a mole all my life and now I am sprouting these stupid things like flowers in a well tended garden. I told my dr I would like to have them removed and she told me to cut them off with clippers. I don't think so. How much would it cost to have the treatment in a skin care center if I can't talk her into letting me see a dermatologist this year?Going for my appointment in a couple of weeks and intend to try and convince her to let me see Derm. Oh I love HMOs...... Hugs MK

It's very reasonable. We're going to do treatments by the time, so only $30 - $50 per 20 - 30 minutes.

Julie that is much better than by number or size. Wish I could get to AR to visit. If my doctor doesn't cooperate maybe I will make a trip to my sil's and stop enroute. Let me know when you are set up. LOL Hugs MK
