Has anyone with Parkinson's had any experience with their hands turning blackish, blue without swelling, but slight tingling??
Not yet. I've only been ignosed for a few weeks now...

Ed-Diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease in 1998.I am also Diabetic,and have major arthritis issues.As long as I can fish life is good.

meds were changed about 6 weeks ago. have had strange sensations in one arm along with the tingles in the hands. started freezing again, but prior to that the new meds relieved the freezing. very tired again, like before the med change. went to the ER last night for the hands.....very black, like a circulation problem. ER says no circulation prob, could be a reaction to the meds or a dermatological issue. woke up this morning and all discoloration disappeared like magic. still very concerned why it occured in the first place and if it is an indication of something more serious than dermatitis.

Thanks Wombat.......these are situations my sister in law is having, not me. It's heartwrenching to see the progression of this disease. She is an extremely strong woman.........one I wish to have the strength and determination to be. She does not let any of her symptoms deter her from an active lifestyle of entertaining guests and keeping her mind and body active even when her body doesn't want to cooperate. She's truly an inspiration. Thanks for the prayers, as I truly do believe in the power of prayer. There is a lot of progress in the field of research for this disease, I'm sorry that you were diagnosed, but don't give up hope in a cure or a way to manage your lifestyle. She's had this disease for 20 years and she's more determined and active than almost anyone I know, certainly more than I, and I am 25 years her junior. My prayers are with you as well...... michelle,I have just seen your ref: to black/blue hands,backs of my hands have been the same since before I was told I have pd,palms also tingle,some days they are darker than others.If people comment on my "bruising"I say it is pressure on my walking stick,but I wonder why my right hand is the same, I only use one stick in my left hand.Like you,I would realy like an answer to this problem,it is so unsightly.I wish you well.

Michelle I see you have major problems with arthritus
so I would say that Raynauds could be your problem
If your hands are warm, the problem disappears as far as i am aware
