I visited my doctor to ask for a different PPI as I am not coping well with 20mg. He said he was going to lower the dose as I should only have 10mg. This is because my endoscopy showed everything was normal.
I am quite obviously suffering from too much acid. Would the specialist have seen if I produced too much acid? I was taking PPI at the time which would have lowered the amount in my stomach before the scope?
Can anybody suggest what I can do, I don't think I can change my doctor for another opinion.
