That's some pretty personal info, for which you're asking. And not very much of an explanation as to what your interest is. Actually, your message is bordering on spam. You may want to give us a little more info about yourself, if you want sincere replies.
I think these questions can be answered somewhat anonymously (she isn't asking for names, etc.), although if she is posting the same questions throughout the forums, she should email admin@healingwell.com to obtain permission.
I dont see what the problem is or where you get the insane concept of bordering on the spam issue. I am a student frustrated and wanted some help. Sorry for the inconvenience of asking how people feel about their lives. I thought that this is what this site was about, I must have been wrong. I''ll stop asking and find a new website if this is such a huge concern that adminstration felt a necessity to write me.
in your first message, or replied to any other members' messages, I would not have had any concern. It's just that you didn't give us any info about yourself, yet asked for very personal info about us. Also, there's no way I could answer your questions in 2 minutes. So, as a member, I chose not to answer them. I don't mind spending 2 hours on a reply, if I think it might help someone. But I have no way of knowing what to write, or whether it might help, as I know nothing about you.
Plus, posting the identical message in 3 different forums, also seemed a little impersonal. So as moderator, I felt it necessary to ask the administrator to comment, as I wasn't sure if your messages qualify as spam or not. You can see that he does not think so.
"Sorry for the inconvenience of asking how people feel about their lives. I thought that this is what this site was about..." This site is about sharing our feelings and experiences, not telling strangers how we feel. You simply needed to have introduced yourself, and/or replied to other members' messages. You can't expect people to open up, or invest time and energy in your problems, if you are unwilling to do the same for them.
You are more than welcome to continue participating at HealingWell, and I hope you can find some support in whatever are your medical problems (you haven't said). You may want to keep in mind that when you share your own feelings and experiences, you support others who may be in similar situations. And also, that you may receive as much, or even more support, by reading other members' messages, as you do from replies to your own messages. THAT'S what this site is about.
to answer the question...... Yes, I did at one time have a Dr(?) tell me I was just "fat" and "lazy" he didn't feel I had an illness. I started crying, got down off the table, pushed him out of my way and left the office. I never returned. some DRS are "jerks" and I have met several of them.
