I'm off to la la land, I hope....it's hard to breath at night, though the antibiotic is helping some already. Hope you all are getting some well deserved rest!
You get some well deserved rest also, Camama. I know your body is stressed to the max right now. Dream the sweetest of dreams.Don't walk in front of me....I may not follow
Don't walk behind me....I may not lead
Walk beside me..and be my friend...

This is absolutely one of those days when I could pull the covers back up over my head and and tell the world to go away! So many weather changes here in the SW and it kills the joints. But, somebody's got to babysit. UGH! I have very able-bodied employees who, by the way, resent my being there. One especially, who has been with us for almost 20 years and thinks she owns the place. We go head to head most days. Won't take direction from me at all even though I write the paychecks and my name is on the place. Just venting.....hate going to the "place". Mondays are always busy and I end up hurting myself. So glad I tuned back in. Most of my "complaints" are just my desire to be understood. Falls on deaf ears with hubby when I collapse into the fetal position because I can't keep up. Sorry.......blah, blah, blah......Boo

Finally! A day where I was out in society! Took advantage of non-throbbing knees and walked for about 20 minutes...showered, dressed, took ANOTHER walk to the fruit market & mailbox! And now I'm cookin' me some grub! It was soooooo beautiful out today, like summer. My honey was happy to hear my "uplifted" voice. It felt so good to move about a bit.
Not wanting the day to end...I love & hate days like this. I cherish & celebrate them; but am disapointed when they are so few and far between.
Hopefully tonite another little stroll will be in order.
I sure hope someone else is having a pretty darn near decent day as well.
It took a month for it to happen, but at least it did.
am very thankful today. again, i had a pretty decent day. walked...had coffee with a friend...another little walk...laundry....studied. feeling very blessed the past 2 days. yea, had knee, hip and back pain. but at least i was able to do stuff and be mobile.
my honey is happy too, he can hear my wellness over the phone! in my voice, i guess he can tell.
am praying i have days like this over the weekend. our relationship needs some TLC and some life support! i'm sure we all know that road! my not doing too well since august has really taken a toll on my boyfriend and myself. he wants his old gal back...and hopefully he'll get her this weekend.
Erin, tell us how your appt. went today. I'm SO glad to hear you are feeling a tad better these last 2 days. Enough to lift your spirits, but not enough to remember to TAKE IT EASY, right?!
My good days are going to achy ones...I guess my 15 minutes of health are over for now...but some of that might be because I skipped a bunch of my plaquinil's due to the antibiotic (trying to space 'em out....forget it) right as we got that big storm this week. My rheumy appt. on tuesday was canceled due to the fact PCP didn't update my referral on time. So, I didn't get a chance to discuss my Lupus question/theory with him. I see him Nov 18 th. Just as well, save the $25 co-pay, I'm on antibiotics, haven't started Enbrel and haven't done my blood work yet - not much would have gotten out of the visit, I'm sure.
I hope you have a GREAT weekend w/Joe (?) and can catch up on the time together.
thanks Camama, my appt was mediocre. my rheummy means well, but i feel i go nowhere! he feels the CD is making the RA worse and vice versa. i'm a multisystem mess with no definite eay out. he's frustrated as much as i am. we'll give the Humira a month or two more. then go onto Remicade. he says i need to be more aggressive with the GI aspect of it. i just wish i had something that you could just cut out, take out and get rid of. it's very hard right now. the quality of life is low, pain is high, and treatment is failing. hopefully a remission of some sort will come within the near future. i'm sick of hearing, "there's no cure...you just have to live with it and deal." but i'm not doing too much living and it's ticking me off. i'm grateful i was able to walk and get about a little the past 3 days. i'm frightened for the future though you know? i'm 24...and having 1 or 2 days out of 2 or 3 months!! i guess i'm just angry that all these meds aren't getting me to a "good" level...and i bust my hump on my end doing everything in my ability to make me well. same story i suppose for everyone. can't wait for the weekend. i need ...yep...my Joe, and some laughs and some fun and hopefully not much pain. thanks for listening {{{{{{{{{{ feel good hugs to you }}}}}}}}}}}}}}}
I know how you feel....I have gone through some very long trials of pain and illness thinking, "gosh, how's life going to be in 10, 20 or 30 years if I can't survive a day in my 30's?" A little stress now and my body shuts down...it's horrible. Things will get better. I think that your body is having a heyday with all these new problems - God willing, it will soon level out and get under control. It takes time, effort and faith, and I know you have the will to make it so!
