Well i think Uppity hit the nail on the head here. It well may be a form of migraine. They can last for weeks and can affect u'r body in some really funky ways. Yes, the symptoms u'r describing can be part of it. I've had migraines in my eye with no pain whatsoever, but some really wild other symptoms. They are called auras. I've also had the pain in my eye and no other symptoms. The hard part of this is that u may develop a pattern that is consistant for u each time or u may not...u may experience something diff every time...so it'll keep u guessing. I'd call the neuro and let them know this is happening. That'd be the doc u'd need to see if it is a migraine and he/she can get u on some meds to try to knock it out and possibly something as a preventative for later on. The only other possibility that came to mind was a sinus infection. Since u'r having those symptoms it may well be related. My eye pain (now thought of as migraines) was first looked at as possible sinus probs. I had mri's checked for any probs there...none, but the point is that it's a possiblity as well. Maybe have u'r doc take a look at u'r most recent mri's as well and see if there appears to be any prob. It'd be great if u could find it's that or even the migraines as opposed to ms. Neither are good, but there is such a thing as the lesser of the two evils...and i'd think migraines would apply here!! Best wishes friend.

But it's like every year that it starts to turn cold here I have some funky symptoms pop up, but on the other hand I have somethings that have been here for 13 years now (fatigue is one of the worst one's along with hand tremors and pain in my muscles that come and go, and a shocking sensation in my head and at times it tends to run down into my back and the loss of balance) but the last MRI I had done was back in 94
I don't know why that the cold would bring these kind of symptoms back up but this headache is now gone but I do still have the numbness still in my face and I have only had 2 migraines that I can recall in my life, but there's so much on the symptoms list of ms that I can relate too but my Pdoc is still looking into ruling things out but I was told by him that he is looking more at the possibility of ms and he doses want a new mri done and for me to see a nerou(sp) here soon. I do have a Q on fatigue when I do try to do anything physical and if I don't pace myself and over do it, it can take me days to recover from it as well as having to take a nap everyday about noontime just to make it though the rest of the day is this the norm for ms or is it just me?

Hi I know its been awhile since you wrote this but I was wondering if it could be optic neuritis? Sounds very much like my O.N. attack.

Thanks for replying I did end up going to the ER for them and found out that they are cluster headaches and I got a new doc that is looking into my other problems and is saying that I may have MS from all my symptoms but still he has to rule out everything else and I'll be seeing him again tomorrow and hopefully a MRI and ST
