Hello to You All

Just thought I'd say hello rather than just start posting. I've been hanging out around CP for a while but because most of my problems seem to be related to OA, I though I'd see what you all were up to . Without a lot of history, I have advanced DDD and was told two weeks ago I needed some SERIOUS surgery to stop my legs from going numb.

There are a total of 4 herniated discs along with spurs, the two dreaded S's and impingement. I'm looking at a 4 level laminectomy, discoectmy and fusion. I have the same thing started at C2-C5 but not as advanced. If I could get the rocks outa my head it might make that part better.

Hope you are all having a reasonable and bearable pain day and are enjoying the wonderfull fall light and color.

If I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself.

You're so right, Erin. I noticed the leaves starting to change while I was driving back from doc. So pretty. Waiting for the big explosion of color. City park is right across the street from work. I have plenty of beautiful scenery in the Fall.
Sorry about your disc probs, Sailor. I'm in the same boat but only have C-6 and C-7 making my arm go numb. Hope it goes ok for you. Boo
