I haven't heard of this on the board before, and while it's mostly noticed in babies and children, it did say that it might not be diagnosed until adulthood.
The symptoms are severe constipation, although diarrhea may sometimes be present as well. Vomiting of bile may also occur as well, due to intestinal blockage.
I've heard about this but did not know a lot. Thanks for the link. I would be curious to know how the doctor knows to test for this and would be concerned since it is more and more common for doctor's to give out IBS dx without any tests done at all. Makes you think.
