Good Afternoon,
In Dec of 2018, I was hospitalized with critically low phosphours level of .80. Since that day I have been on a phosphours supplement (250 mg 4 times daily) to maintain my levels. I have been to NUMEROUS doctors and all of them keep telling me the same thing, which is my kidneys are excreting almost 1300 mg of phosphorus daily (have had 2-24 hour urine test), but they cannot understand why because my kidney function bloodwork shows that they are working just fine (this can't be true since my kidneys aren't acting as the filter like they are supposed to). I just want to get to the bottom of this issue (why its happening/if it's heriditary, ect). Has anyone else ever dealt with this issue before and if so, were they able to figure it out or are you just stuck taking the supplement for the rest of your life?
Sincerely needing answers
