I'm home, exhausted, but wanted to check in and tell you I missed you all.

I am not going to read one post tonight or I won't stop.  I need to get some sleep bad......... stayed up watching baseball playoffs and visiting.  Had a great visit and will report all that tomorrow.  Love MK

MK:

Missed your posts.  Glad you had a good time.  The playoffs were such fun!!  We became Red Sox fans while in Boston and I am happy to be able to root for the American League with such hopefuls.

Glad you are back and well.

Hugs,

Candy

I was for the Red Sox, too and first night I watched was with my cousin from Boston, last Sunday. Having his company was even more fun. I am reading posts and am still totally worn out, so will read all before responding to any. Tomorrow is another day. LOL. Hugs MK

So there ARE some Red Sox fans in our group; everyone was so quiet during the playoffs, I figured I had to be silent about baseball.

In this house it's the Yankees or no one.  So on Friday we had our ritual folding of all of DH's Yankee shirts which must return to the back of his closet until at least April.  He then announced that he was rooting for StL.

Pardon me, said I, I am loyal to the American League and will therefore yeah BELIEVE only in the Red Sox.  (I only ever root for the Nat'l League when it's the Mets or the Cubs, except of course if the Yankees are on the other side).  So as the World Series begins I say "Go Sox!!!"

Red Sox won this evening and I am happy dancing here in NV.  Love, Luci
