Hi I'm a 27 yearold female from Chicago with an ostomy and I'm so glad to have found this site. I've had an ileostomy for 1 year and 3 months now and I've never even talked to anyone else with one. To sit here and read about all of you who have some of the same problems I have makes me not feel alone. I've also noticed that there are a lot of things that you guys can help me with and that goes vice versa. I have great solutions for smells and gas etc. I would love to share with anyone on the site some of these things.

Thank you I was starting to think that my name was a little to bold. This is the first response I've received all day. The reason I choose this name is because Iknow how being an ostamate can make a person feel, I've felt that way myself before. But I decided that Iwasn't going to let it change me. I'm a very creative person so I used my creativity to help make my life no different now then it was before. I was very successful I live my life just like I did before. I still sing and dance and etc. I even still model from time to time. I'm ready to share these things with others and I hope to make some if not everyone see that they are still beautiful tooooo!
