I was just wondering if anyone has successfully dealt with IPS, similar to IBS except it is with people who have a J-pouch. I believe it is commonly diagnosed as pouchitis, which I was diagnosed with a couple of months ago. After trying five antibiotics along with some anti-spasm meds I am still not feeling well, 10 bowel movements daily and starting to lose a bit of energy, probably because of waking up throughout the night. If anyone has had this or has some advice, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
Hi jm8778,
I'm not sure anyone on this IBS board has a J-pouch. You might get better answers if you post on the Ostomies, UC and/or Chrohn's board.
Good luck!

I have a j-pouch and have IPS.
I'm wondering how you are doing jm8778. I know you posted this over 8 years ago but I could use some encouragement or a big dose of reality. I've had my pouch for 3 years. Thanks!
