I saw one of my radiation Oncs today for a check up and told him about this lump I noticed around my breast/lower armpit area. He determined it was in the right breast at the 10 o'clock position. He said it was very soft and per-something or other.....I am doing a mammo on the right breast and an ultrasound on Thursday. He said if it were to be anything they would just cut it out and that would be that. But would it really? It's very small and not hard like my first one. He said I have cysts in my breast and this could be one too, but he wants to make sure. I was glad he didn't say let's wait and see b/c I may have said Ok, just b/c I don't want to go through anything right now. Only my DH and incredible Friend, Katie, know about this. UGH.....this just sucks. Can I ask for some porkchop bone vibes? It will actually have to be Chicken Wing bones, since I don't eat porkchops! Or maybe a celery stalk.....anything but a stupid cancerous tumor. Boy, do I have a long wait. Like I needed this around my birthday! GGGGRRRR.

Oh Shelley- I can't believe you have to be in waiting hell right now! Didn't your doc get the memo? You have done your time and are out on parole!!

Now about him just cutting it out and that would be it - when I had that tumor scare this summer I immediately said to my Breast Surgeon- so this means a mast right? And he said- like yours- IF it is anything we will just take it out. Another lumpectomy.

I am praying real hard for you! I don't know when your b'day is but my wish is you put this in some amnesia place and not think about it and just ENJOY another birthday!
