I don't know any LLMD's in your area, but I'm sure somebody here will be able to offer you suggestions. In the meantime, you could try to contact ILADS for a LLMD referral or the Lyme Disease Association also has an instant doctor referral on their website.
I completely understand the weakness and fatigue that you are having. I hope that you will be able to find a great LLMD to help you soon. Before I went to a LLMD, I saw a naturopathic doctor who was able to offer some suggestions about an herbal protocol to try while waiting for a LLMD. You might want to consider seeing a naturpathic physician. Sometimes they are more open to a Lyme diagnosis and are able to offer suggestions.
There is also a well-known book titled "Healing Lyme" that may be of use to you in formulating an herbal protocol while you wait to get in touch with a LLMD, and my favorite Lyme book is "The Lyme Disease Solution." It has a ton of info about many different treatment issues that come along with Lyme disease.www.lymepie.blogspot.com
Hi Bad legs - welcome to the forum! I'm sorry to hear of what you're going through - hopefully you can find a doctor soon! In the meantime, if you check out the "new to lyme" thread there's information on detoxing which can really help with symptoms - a lot of times the worst of our symptoms aren't due to the actual infection itself, but the accumulation of toxic material from die-off.
