Why do we need to use initials when most Lyme practitioners advertise their services?Lyme, Bartonella, Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever, Mycoplasma, EBV, Coxsackie B, Chlamydia Pnemoniae, Parvo, Mold Tried: Zhang (18 months), Cowden (3 months), LDI( 3months), UVLrx (3 months), now assortment of herbs, homeopathy, vitamins and detox.
Well, since I’m not supposed to say her name.. this is the NP that worked under Dr H ( the one with the books). Anyone know her? I’d really love to know if she’s a good practitioner. Her reviews seem like they might be written by a PR firm ( sadly, many practitioners seem to do that...)Lyme, Bartonella, Rocky Mtn Spotted Fever, Mycoplasma, EBV, Coxsackie B, Chlamydia Pnemoniae, Parvo, Mold Tried: Zhang (18 months), Cowden (3 months), LDI( 3months), UVLrx (3 months), now assortment of herbs, homeopathy, vitamins and detox.

Because unless we know for sure they’re advertising their services - we don’t want to “out” them. I don’t know if most openly advertise.
I say Dr H because I’m in the habit of using initials... but he is out in the open - does tv interviews, books.. etc.so I’ve seen others’ mention his full nameModerator, Lyme Forum Symp started April/2013; Buhner's Lyme May 15-July24/14; Igenex pos. Re: not using doctor's names, not to sound overly paranoid/conspiracy theorist, but using a practitioner's full name could lead them to show up in search results from this forum. Honest discussion of treatment (including things that may not be going well) could unknowingly end up in the hands of IDSA deniers, etc., who could spin the information and use it against the doctor somehow.
It also makes it incredibly difficult for patients to get accurate information on which practitioners are good/bad, etc. I have been to at least 15 who are either scammers, thieves and/or incompetent. I have wasted 10s of thousands.
