When I got home from church last night I made a shake for a late supper. I took the mobic with a shake made of: almond milk, frozen almond milk cubes, honey, coconut oil, vanilla, stevia drops, cocoa, frozen spinach (I know that sounds awful, but the cocoa masks the flavor of the spinach). about 8 oz. Afterwards, I still felt need for something a little solid, so I had a small orange. I was up and down with pain and diarrhea for hours! Was it the orange? I know you can eat grapefruit with Mobic. Was it not enough solid food? I've only been on it for about a month, and have learned I can't take it with my vitamins.
My bets are perhaps the shake got you. We need food to bulk up the stool & sometimes liquid like that just doesn't agree with people. I have instances of being able to eat something one time with no problem & the next time I am living in the bathroom for hours. I checked on side effects at Drugs.com, diarrhea is not listed as a potential side affect. This is an excellent site to look up medications.

Thanks Suzie. Maybe it was the shake. Already have to be careful with diarrhea with the plaquenil if I each too close to dose time. Maybe a combo
