Music

I like Enya and The Corrs who is an Irish group..very good music.  Of course I was a child of the 70's-80's also so I like most all music.  It depends on my moods...

I'm fairly new to this site and this is only my second post, but I also couldn't resist responding to this one! When I need to 'wallow', Tori Amos tends to play a large part in things! I also listen to James Blunt, Coldplay, Daniel Powter, Alanis Morissette, K.T. Tunstall, Chantal Kreviazuk. If you don't recognise some of these, then it may be because I'm form the UK and they may not be as well known in the U.S.

I think music can be very therapeutic as wll though, and I have my MP3 Player categorised into 'mood' sections so that I can easily tune into what I feel I either am, or alternatively need, e.g. 'chilled', 'summer', 'happy', 'sad', 'depressing', 'girly', 'loud/punk' etc.
This seems to work really well for me, and the 'happy' and 'summer' categories really do help to lift my mood if I'm feeling a bit numb, or empty, so to speak.

As for earlier mentions in this topic... I also find The Corrs useful, Goo Goo Dolls, Fleetwood Mac, and I do a Tracy Chapman album, which is fantastic, but I tend to avoid it as I never know how I'm going to react to it, emotionally!
