Need advice - probiotics, FOS, candida?

Hi, I'm new to this forum. I was diagnosed as having IBS over 20 years ago. Through out the years my symptoms have ranged fromn mild/non-existent to pretty bad. I also have bad allergies, migraines and sinus infections, which I believe are all connected in some way along with the IBS-D. Having read recently about leaky gut syndrome and the link with candidiasis, I am considering doing the Attogram/Lahoz protocol, which is basically and intestinal cleanser program to rid one's body of parasites and fungi (candida). On the Whole Approach website, which sells the products for the protocol, both probiotics they sell have FOS. I had read in one of the threads here that FOS feeds candida and to avoid taking a probiotic that includes it. Problem is most probiotics are including it now. I'm wondering what other people's experiences have been. I appreciate any help that anyone has to offer for I am caught in this vicious cycle, which is getting worse all the time.

Hi spring_bird, My best advice to you would be to print out the product information and take it to your doctor with your concerns. I do believe your concerns are valid but I also don't have any info on the product. You must be careful about these types of products though as some seem to be money maker gimicks so always best to run it by the doc.
