My son who is nearly 5 has been suffering from some form of seizure since about last christmas, he normally has about 3 a week but some weeks might only be two then others 4. I suppose there not severe as they only last about 10 to 30 seconds, but it effects his speech afterwards and can tire him out. Today he had 3 within a couple of hours but he has got his eeg tomorrow which hopefully will come up with something. Luckily he his not too aware what has been happening to him but he his quite confused afterwards. But what a comfort to read other stories, as sometimes as the only parent i feel kinda on my own though friends and family do try
He has not been given medication as the doc that we seen a couple of months ago said what i described
wasn't a typical seizure but his eeg went well but half an hour after the test he had a seizure in the restaurant
so hopefully there was some abnormal brain activity during the test so maybe we can find out what is happening and get it treated. So only 3 weeks to wait for the results, but thanks for your replies and support.
