Well, Stuart finally made it official and asked me at dinner last night (our anniversary) to marry him. Now I finally get to put all my wedding plans into action!
Of course I'm just insufferable today. 
Already been looking at rings (I get to pick out my engagement ring--I already have a set of wedding rings lined up) and fabric to make my bridesmaid's dress out of.

The best advice I can give to someone planning a wedding is to find someone to videotape it. The day goes by in such a blur that when you look back on it, you can't remember much.

We're going to have a medieval wedding, so hopefully it won't feel like such a blur with festivities going on all weekend. But I was just thinking this morning if I know anyone with a digital camcorder. If nothing else, I'll want to record the people singing for us. We have some friends who sing just for fun and they make an excellent choir; they will bring tears to your eyes even when you don't understand the words they are singing.
