I'm planning to visit my brother and have cancelled the last flight due to needing to be with my parents. We are looking for flights now for April and May, but I don't want a conflict if we are possibly going to get together in May. Pegzilla is graduating so I imagine that she would be busy with finals etc. until late in May. Does anyone have any thoughts ? Hugs, Di
I'm out of commission until at least mid-may. Leigh sold his condo (got the offer today!) and we'll be moving him in April. Then we go to Florida for my grandmother's 100th birthday.
As much as I'd love a gathering, I cannot see us planning one in that short of a time period...my advice os to plan your trips now and we'll get a gathering going when we can....

I'm FINISHED with class work. Just waiting to get my grades (assuming that I did okay on my final paper, LOL), and then graduation is May 21. Yep, on Mothers Day.
I'd LOVE it if we could get a gathering together, and I'd be happy to help plan one, even if it's not close to me. I am actually having trouble figuring out what to do with myself sometimes! After two years of class work on the weekends, it's kind of weird not having research or reading or a paper to write.
So, should we start thinking about a time and place? We had discussed Cleveland at one time (and I still have not been to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame !)....
What do you all think?

Usually when a get together is planned we know a couple of months in advance when and where. The last few times we have talked about one, it has kind of fallen apart. The enthusiasm just hasn't been there. I am fighting with myself about my 50th class reunion the end of July. I would like to go, but it is so hard for me to get around anymore, I keep talking myself out of it. I need to go spend some time with my mother since her move into the Home. She is doing great and I want to support her all I can to keep her happy there. All of the above are about 125 miles from Cleveland. When I went to see her and help clean out her apartment, I flew into Columbus, OH because the rate was so much cheaper than Cincinnati or Pittsburgh. I didn't check Cleveland rates, because my daughter would drive right through Columbus on her way and it worked out beautifully. But Di, I would say plan your trip, if we get around to meeting there will be time enough for you to know well in advance. Hugs MK

May I be the first to offer my congratulations!!! We should alert the Donald that you are available! You wouln't believe how often I think of you when watching commercials.
