Had my 6 th stricture stretch on monday. Within 3 hours I was shaking like a paint mixer in a hardware store😋 and my temp went to 104.5. Figured it was just a coincidence and was one of my regular fevers. Skipped my normal blood work on Tuesday and my temp was continually 102.5 to 104. Went in Wednesday and did regular labs and blood cultures . turns out my platelets have gone down from my regular 90k to 57k and my crp went from my regular 6-7 to 100. Fevers are now mostly gone, or low but obviously I got some inflammation . no growth in the cultures yet. Seems there never is🤔 so we shall see what next weeks blood work says.
Wish this crap would just get figured out after all these years.

Well my platelets are back up to 155😁 which is at the low end of normal. And I've felt ok the last 7-8 days. So yay for me!

My daughter was diagnosed Feb. 19/07, (13 yrs. old at time of diagnosis), with Crohn's of the Terminal Illium. Has used Prednisone and Pentasa. Started Imuran (02/09), had an abdominal abscess (12/08). 2cm of Stricture.
Started Remicade in Feb. 2014, along with 100mgs. of Imuran.
