Does any member here have to have the radioactive uptake scan to be prescribed medication.
This place is not that active.
Rare test, Ive had them all but this.
Free T3, free T4 along with tsh.........those three tests results determine your thyroid levels. Not one...all three.
Never heard of a Dr saying you need the radioactive uptake scan for a diagnosis. Weird.

Initial lyme symptoms late 80's, then again with bullseye early 90's. ABX 2014 - 2016. In "remission " / "Cured" (?) for four years. Now: Healing / Rebuilding / fixing muscle damage and still improving nutrition and immune via anti- cytokine diet. 20 years of Hashimoto is now improving and Thyroid Nodule dissolved too.

Very seldom is this test done. That why no one answered.

What are your free t3, free t4 and tsh results? This is step #1 in thyroid diagnosis.
Ultra sound imaging with a simple hand held device is the most common and safe method of imaging the thyroid glad. Takes 20 minutes. No radioactive injections or anything.
And again are you in the US or some other country. ? Some country's do thing their way, which is not always the best.

I have subcentimer bilateral nodules. My TSH is low 0.168. Thyroid peroxidase (TPO) Ab is high 123,

In August my FT4 was 1.34
I am going back to endo in 2 months. My FT3 in the past was.4.41 above normal.
Do they fluctuate? In Dec. of last year my FT4 was 1.89.

Please provide the reference range for the FT4 and FT3 with the TSH !
We need the reference ranges on your test report because they can be different base on the lab and test machine that analyzed your blood.
