I am surprised there are few posts on this site. Both the UK and France have very active online forums so I am hoping to encourage more caregivers to post here. We had a very up and down week. Parkinson’s Rebel Fit boxing has helped a lot. It is very challenging for Jim but he loves it. He also has sciatica pain, very slow movement and some hallucinations. His beautiful voice is very diminished. He was diagnosed ten years ago. Looking forward to hearing from others.
Diagnosed 1987 with lower left ulcerative colitis. Hospitalized often. Mega toxic pan colitis Dec. 1999. Perforated colon and total colectomy April 2011. First j-pouch surgery March 8, 2012. Six other damaged organs removed at that time. Ileostomy reversal June 26, 2012. First half-marathon Dec. 2, 2012!
