Something to think about as we grieve

I know we are all feeling a bit raw right now with Mel's passing. I found this poem in our daily newspaper where it was used as filler on the obit page. I thought it was worth sharing. Hugs and tears, Lauri

Don't think of her as gone away
Her journey's just begun
Life holds so many facets
This earth is only one.

Just think of her as resting
From the sorrow and the tears
In a place of warmth and comfort
Where there are no days or years.

Think of how she must be wishing
That we could know today
How nothing but our sadness
Can really pass away.

And think of her as living
In the hearts of those she touched
For nothing loved is ever lost
And she was loved so much.

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.

That is a good poem. Thanks for posting it. And those words are so true about Mel. She was loved so much b/c she did touch many people.
