You know, it's a good question. Standard deseases don't often change your personality like bp does. I tell people I am bp, I don't say that I suffer from bp, so maybe I do self identify with bp as being a part of who I am.

I will have to mull this over a bit.

I usually say "I have bipolar disorder."  But when I'm here, or with friends that I feel safe with, I say, "I'm bipolar."
