so along with my CHF with ejection fraction(EF) less than 30%, I’ve had two episodes of sickness; wake up in the middle night sweating, extreme stomach nausea, some coughing bent over hurting, some pains in my sides, some stabbing pains in the chest, no shortness of breath, no constipation or diarrhea, had an exam thursday that indicated EF was at estimated between 45-50% since November 2024! remarkable! so what are these episodes?? went to ER yesterday and my eGFR rate with my stage 3B kidney disease has gone from 38-53 as of yesterday, blood looks good and chest x-rays look good, what gives?? ER never has a diagnosis, anyone ever heard of a condition like this?? obviously something is not right
How many times has this happened & when did it start? Perhaps make a diary including what you were doing prior to this happening, really strange.
I don't know what medications you are on but perhaps go to Drugs.com & read about potential side effects, this includes any supplements that you take.
I can relate to the night sweating, some nights I have to change pj's & my pillowcase. I wear summer pjs year-round. My drs cannot give me an explanation for this.
If it keeps happening take your diary & see your dr, don't let them fob you off. Maybe you need a referral to your cardio dr.

I am on sucibitril, metropol, aldactone, amarodione for the heart, I do appreciate the ERs effort to check out the heart thoroughly but last night I went to a local urgent care and with an abdominal x-ray they were able to show me that although I wasn’t constipated, my stool was still backing up in the colon so they prescribed some polyethylene 3350 powder with a liquid diet for 48 hours
