UC and smoking

Hi,

I recently switched to ecigs and I am finding much less symptoms. Is there a direct correlation between tobacco and UC? I know I am addicted to nicotine, which I get in my ecigs. I am wondering if anyone else out there has had milder symptoms by switching out from tobacco?

I use bullsmoke.com for the ecigs and I probably lowered my overall nicotine intake, as I am using 12mg. I believe a regular cigarette would have more? Maybe I am wrong. I am wondering if it's a stress issue or just the fact tobacco might be a trigger whereas the vapor from the ecig isn't.

Any opinions?

I have seen other people mention that the ecig isn't as effective :( I am sorry to say it because smoking is so bad for you and I would imagine the e-cig is a little lless harsh.

You don't get cyanide which reduces systemic H2S, and you don't get carbon monoxide which surpresses your white blood cells. So, technically its not as good for UC but its a safer alternative to still get the benefit from nicotine.
