I have undiagnosed stomach pain and bloating, rather severe... sever enough to make me go to the hospital three times in two days and to my dr's.
They ran a sonagram and a ct scan on my stomach, they both showed nothing wrong....
my blood work showed nothing wrong other than a bit of a high white count...
So monday i am seeing my dr to talk about being scoped or exploratory surgery....
I cant stand the pain, its not bothering me today, thank GOD!!!!!
the pain is right under my ribcage and goes to my back n such.... they dont think its my heart because how long lasting its been and the fact im not dead yet and the tests dont point at it, thankfuly... but whatever is wrong could kill me i guess since no one knows what is causing it.... but its odd how bad this pain is and how long lasting it has been....
anyone have any ideas?
Is the pain on the right side? Have they checked your gallbladder?

its in the center and they checked my gall bladder and my spleen and my pancreas and my kidneys an such *did a sonogram and a ct scan with contrast as well as much blood work*
they still dont know what is wrong with me and whats causing this......
ive been on a liquid diet only since tuesday and it seems to be helping, i still get bloated, but the pain is far more tolerable... still i wanna get this thing fixed!!

I'm new to the forum, I saw your post and thought I would reply. I was just diagnosed with Non-Ulcer Dyspepsia (NUD), the symptoms are pretty much identical to what you describe. I was given a presciption for Prevacid and a lot of literature about diet and nutrition. I haven't started the Prevacid yet, I don't like taking medication - but I will try it to see if it brings relief. Here is a link to some info on NUD:

I was kept overnight at the hospital for severe pain in my stomach and bloating. the next day I felt better, but from time to time I get it again. I have gerd with barretts and I also get palpitations. ITS GETTING HARDER FOR ME TO DO ANYTHING PHYSICAL anymore because it bothers my eshopogus .I was taking food enzymes and zolof both times that I had the severe stomach pains I don't know if that was a coinsidence.

i am taking nexium now and been on paxil for awhile, i know paxil can hurt your stomach, but i want to rule out everything before i try stoping it....
wednesday i go for an upper gi series, maybe that will shead some light on things
I also have heart palpations and am taking toprol xl 100mg 1 @ day *extended release lopressor* for them and high bp...
it helps! however it can be harsh on your stomach too!
